If you didn't know, September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. Ovarian cancer is a tricky and dangerous disease as there is no real clear diagnosis test, which means that women have to be in tune with their bodies to know the symptoms.
According to WESA FM, those signs include abdominal bloating, feeling full, and needing to urinate more frequently. Ovarian cancer also has a genetic link like breast cancer, which makes it important for women to know their family histories. Among the most important actions is to talk with your gynecologist or women's care doctor regularly to know the risks and what to look for.
