This is the ultimate girls' day out that's happening on Sunday
from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The DoubleTree by Hilton (5485 Twin Knolls
Road) in Columbia, Md. And we're not kidding when we say this year's women's
expo is EPIC!
We're talking all-day shopping among 51 exceptional exhibitors, mini-inspirational
sessions, free food, a live DJ,
$3,200 worth of door prizes and other fun! But this dynamic of an event doesn't happen by accident. It takes month of hard work and preparation.
And we'd like to give a shout-out to the staff and wonderful volunteers you'll see making the Pink Event run seamlessly:
2014 Key Planning Committee Members
Tamika Josephs-Smith is the Founder and Event Director. She has spearheaded this successful event for the past four years. In addition to creating and running the expo, Tamika is the Founder and CEO of Diamond Event Services, LLC.
Vinette Josephs is
the Financial Manager. She helps develop the budget and financing process for
the event. Vinette also runs a tax planning, tax preparation, and bookkeeping
services firm called Access
E-File, LLC.
Marguerite Bowling is the Publicist for The Pink Event. She handles the social marketing and promotion of the event as well as the speakers' lounge.
Estefania Holler is the Administrative Assistant. This savvy stay-at-home mom not only handles day-of registration but also the many tasks related to our great exhibitor and sponsors.
We'd also like to thank the following volunteers who will be helping out on Sunday:
- Kathy Alexander of Washington, DC
- Brooke Elam of Baltimore, MD
