The results are in and women were thrilled to be a part of The Pink Event^® 2016.  

We talked with several attendees to get their feedback:

"I found out about The Pink Event on Facebook and appreciate the charity awareness," said Erica Brooks from Glen Burnie. "I enjoyed the Speakers Lounge the most. I will recommend the event to my friends and family next year! 

Baltimore native Simone Lipscomb, who was at the women-focused expo with her sister-in-law and mother-in-law (a cancer survivor) raved about the expo's speakers. "I enjoyed Cyndy Porter's speech and wish she had more time to talk! Kenya Ulmer's "I see dead people" talk was also a message I could relate to." The school teacher said she plans to bring a group of friends to the Pink Event next year. 

"Cyndy Porter's presentation stood out the most to me," said Dominika Polynice of Owings Mills. "She delivered some concepts about fashion and proportions that I'd never considered before. She definitely gave information that I could start using immediately."

Come for the Fun of The Pink Event® 2016 & Bring a Purse to Donate!!

We have a special announcement!! The Pink Event^® 2016 (this Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the BWI Airport Marriott in Linthicum) is an official drop-off location for the Power of the Purse. 

This fantastic silent auction and sale will have an array of gently used and vintage purses along with new and designer handbags. 

The event, put on by Her Mind magazine, is on June 13 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to Blossoms of Hope in support of the Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center at Howard County General Hospital.

So come out to The Pink Event to support our great charity partners and help another great event by bringing that lovely purse you want to upgrade!.

Breast cancer survivor Kellee Southern is up to talk about embracing your journey. She has a powerful, personal story to tell, and we're going to keep tissues handy in case there are waterworks from this inspirational lady.
