This women's shelter not only specializes in the dynamics of intimate partner violence but it helps thousands of battered women and their children find the safety and security to start a new chapter in their lives.

Okay just a warning, but this might make you tear up. We here at The Pink Event^® are in love with the Detroit community that responded after Fox 2 News ran a tragic story about Simone Hearn--who at the time was homeless, had three children, and was dealing with stage 3 breast cancer. Two weeks after Hearn's story aired, Fox 2 News received so much support that they were able to find Hearn and her children an affordable place to live. 

Prince George's County Department of Social Services, Foster Care & Adoption Talks with The Pink Event™

One thing we're excited about with our elite selection of niche vendors participating in The Pink Event™ 2012 is that they're not all the same—or even selling products or services. This is the case with the Prince George's County Department of Social Services, Foster Care and Adoption. The agency instead is hoping to bring some much-needed attention to the county's need for foster and adoptive parents.
