Meet The Pink Event® 2015 Team!

Behind every fantastic event is a fantastic of team of people who are committed to making excellence shine! And it's no different with The Pink Event® 2015 that's happening in mere days (March 8) at the BWI Airport Marriott in Linthicum, Md.

So by now, you probably know The Pink Event Founder Tamika Joseph-Smith. She is a multi-faceted planner with spunk and creativity, who has grown The Pink Event to great heights in just five years! 


What you may not know is that Tamika has family (and friends) in her corner making the event run seamlessly. Her mother, Vinnette Josephs, serves as the official financial consultant to the event, helping with important items like setting a stellar operating budget. 

Mike Smith is the official DJ for The Pink Event 2015!

Tamika's husband, Michael Smith, is the official DJ of The Pink Event. He runs the company The Carlton Smith Music Group, which has been a major sponsor of the Pink Event since the women-focused expo started.

New to the Pink Event team is Lisa Oliver, owner of Here to Help Virtual Assistance, LLC. Lisa's unbridled energy has made her an invaluable asset in seeking out and securing valuable sponsors. Speaking of energy, plan to see one of our cheeriest members at the registration desk this Sunday!

Estefania "Steffy" Holler handles our exhibitor relations as well as registration. This amazing multi-tasker (she's a mom of two) who believes in empowering women and celebrating women-owned businesses.

behind-the-scenes helper!

Also new this year to the team is Tina Sanders. Tina has helped promote The Pink Event and serve as support to Tamika in the midst of planning great things happening at the expo.

Then there's your blog writer (that would be Marguerite Bowling). I handle public relations and marketing for The Pink Event. One recent success our team had was a great interview Tamika did on Fox 45 Baltimore about our upcoming expo.
