Preparations are under way for The Pink Event®, an annual one-day expo that serves as the ultimate girls’ day out for women in the Washington-Baltimore region.
The expo will take place during National Women’s History month on March 10 (from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at the swanky ballroom in the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia, Md. Interested ladies can get a sneak peek of the unique shopping experience and fun in a newly posted video.
In its third year, the expo will have women-focused vendors that offer a wide range of unique shopping, from customized boutique clothing and glamorous jewelry to natural hair products. The first 75 attendees will receive a “swag bag” filled with gift certificates, coupons, and other goodies.
Throughout the day, attendees will be able to hear from accomplished speakers on the topics that matter to women, experience live demonstrations, try out the official Pink Event photo booth, and enjoy free refreshments and a live DJ.
“Many DC-area ladies right now are undertaking marathon holiday shopping for their loved ones, but they also need an event where they get to indulge in themselves,” says The Pink Event Founder Tamika Josephs-Smith. “They need a 'me-day' and that’s what we’ve cultivated with The Pink Event.”
