Robin
A. J. Hunt, a director at Johns Hopkins Medicine and board president of Dress
for Success Baltimore, will be at our women expo to discuss how women must
think beyond their clothing choices for building business success, regardless
of their work environment.
“A
well put-together look is invaluable for your professional presence, but so are
other attractive qualities like business etiquette, a good work ethic, and
strong professionalism,” says Hunt, whose nonprofit group helps disadvantaged
women in the Baltimore area attain jobs or retain them through ongoing success.
“Yes,
we will talk about fashion, but we’re also going to talk about standard
approaches for dealing with relevant situations that become part of a woman’s
business reputation…the unspoken rules that propel you or hinder you,” she
added.
A
graduate from the University of North Carolina with a master’s degree in health
care administration, Hunt currently serves as the director of strategic
initiatives and business performance for Johns Hopkins Medicine.
In
addition to serving Dress for Success Baltimore, Hunt also is a member of the
Emerging Leaders United and has held active leadership roles with the National
Association of Health Services Executives.
