With ladies lining up 10 minutes before the doors to the Maryland Ballroom officially opened, The Pink Event™ 2012 did not disappoint with its specialized vendors and motivational sessions.
The annual one-day expo (held this past Saturday at the Holiday Inn in Laurel) featured 25 women-owned businesses that sold: high-end wickless candles; jewelry; artwork and stationary; designer clothes; cosmetics; all-natural bath and beauty products; hair products; cosmetics; anti-cellulite wraps and supplements; purses and bags; shoes; sweets; and other female-oriented items.
“I truly enjoyed the energy of women,” says Jennifer Lucy Tyler, a motivational speaker and Christian author who spoke to a packed room. “There were all types of women here who benefited from the networking, shopping, and the insights they got from other ladies. Everything was positive, pretty, and pink!”

The Pink Event also featured a live performance from local-area, neo-soul singer Yorrelle. See photos of the event and learn more about its vendors at www.thepinkevent.net.
