The Pink Event® 2014 Announces Charity Partnership with Tigerlily Foundation

For the second consecutive year, Diamond Event Services, LLC, will partner with the Tigerlily Foundation, naming the nonprofit group its official charity partner for The Pink Event^® 2014. The annual women-focused expo—which will grace the atrium and ballrooms of the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia, Md., on March 9, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.— partners with a charity each year to educate attendees about the dangers of breast cancer and promote awareness. 

Known as the ultimate girls’ day out, The Pink Event also donates a select amount of ticket funds to the charity. Diamond Event Services CEO Tamika Josephs-Smith said Tigerlily was a natural choice.

“Tigerlily Foundation is doing a lot of great work to help young women primarily deal with the trials and realities of having breast cancer,” she said. “We’re excited to partner with them once again and spread the message to our attendees.”

Based in Reston, Va., Tigerlily Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, advocating for, and proving hands-on services and support to young women (ages 15 to 40) who are affected by breast cancer.
